Forged bee & reinforced structure

Chateau Laguiole, created in 1992 by French Master Sommelier Guy Vialis, was the inaugural Laguiole corkscrew. It was the first 'sommelier knife' to embrace and refine the age-old craftsmanship and emblems of Laguiole master cutlers, such as the iconic bee and the skill of buffing exquisite handles crafted from rare woods and horns. All genuine Chateau Laguiole sommelier knives are crafted in France by Maison Chateau Laguiole, which additionally provides a highly valued repair service and warranty.

Grand Cru Series: The Grand Cru Series corkscrews are distinguished by two long, beveled bolsters at each end of the handle, showcasing a splendid fusion of contemporary design and exquisite materials. The long beveled bolsters strengthen the entire structure, rendering them especially appropriate for professional sommeliers who uncork numerous bottles daily.

Handle model: This model features a handle crafted from polished Taurus bone and gleaming stainless-steel components.

Brand: CHATEAU LAGUIOLE, made in France

We recommend: Never wash the handle with water. Water will damage the precious woods and horn. To give back its shine or clear fingerprints, we highly recommend using a microfiber fabric.

Warranty: Chateau Laguiole offers a lifetime warranty against manufacture defaults when you register online using their QR code at the back of the Member Card (provided in the gift box). Deterioration with time and usage, such as looseness of the screw, the lever, or bending or broken handle by accident are not covered but can be repaired by Chateau Laguiole at fair fees.
