OA 1710 pays attention to the accessory as a means for celebration, a piece of pewter art in a contemporary style, unique in the world. OA 1710 is the creative brand of Les Orfevreries d'Anjou, pewtersmith and workshops existing for more than 300 years at Angers, in the Loire Valley, in France. Its craftsmen (some "Meilleurs Ouvriers de France") have been designing, creating and polishing magnificent objects for the most famous brands of the luxury industry: Taittinger, Bollinger, Moet & Chandon, Hennessy, Remy Martin, Baccarat, Hermes, Guerlain, Moulin Rouge...

Pewter is an expensive metal alloy, traditionally 85-99% tin, with the remainder consisting of copper and antimony. But it is considered a metal of the same category as Copper, titanium...Less rare and thus not as precious as Silver is, it has nonetheless superb qualities perfectly mastered by OA 1710 workshops. It has a low melting point, so Pewter is melted in-house at OA 1710. It is strong and solid, heavy, but malleable, which allows unlimited creativity in shapes: OA 1710 buckets are truly pieces of Art. Pewter is sensitive to knocks, not like iron, but resistant enough for heavy usage, as per today in the most chic hotels, bars, restaurants and nightclubs clients of OA 1710 around the Globe. Instead of Silver, it will not oxidize easily, making its radiance lasting longer and much easier to take care of.

OA 1710 has received the Official French label "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant", for its know-how accumulated for centuries. Its workshops host "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" craftsmen working with some the most talented designers of their time.
