The original Forge de Laguiole® knives are fully handcrafted in-house, at their forge and workshops in the village of Laguiole, France, where it all begun in 1829. each knife is the result of their extraordinary materials combination, the know-how of their Master knife-smiths with the precision of a goldsmith. Forge de Laguiole® knives, for their unequaled quality, their longevity and their exceptional cutting edge, have become the reference signature of the greatest Chefs' tables all around the world, as well as of enthusiasts of sharp beautiful knives.
Forge de Laguiole distinctive and elegant carving sets are a favorite classic among meat & poultry lovers. Nice in hands, the carving knife gives plenty of reach thanks to its long and sharp blade. Its extreme cutting edge will make it fun and really easy to cut the finest slices needed. At the same time, the meat fork, with its trident shape is of great support and super handful to achieve your surgical cut with the carving knife.
The blade is made from the high-quality French T12 steel, which is exclusively produced for Forge de Laguiole®. Then its forged to 1000°C in their workshops in Laguiole, France.
The carving knife displays the iconic Laguiole bee, a Napoleonic imperial symbol says the legend, forged in one piece with the spring, then stamped by a press at the forge.

Model handle: Ebony wood
The precious wood handle is enhanced by two stainless steel bolsters forged and fixed on a metal liner which will be drilled and polished before the assembly of the knife. They help to protect the handle during daily use.
Clean & Care: do not use dish-washer. Prolonged water contact will crack precious woods and horns. Hand-wash the blade with a sponge, hot water and detergent if needed. If the handle need to be cleaned, use a dry fabric to remove what must be removed.
